This local award-winning business was established in 2009 and has been serving its unique customer base food and drinks since then. As well as the essential Guinness, the bar serves a large selection of traditional and local draught beers, alongside a larger selection of imported beers and ciders. It has a generous selection of wines & spirits, also serving cocktails and hot drinks. The food menu has everything from bar food quick bites to traditional Irish dishes for a complete sit-down meal.
There is inside seating with two rooms that can seat 60 comfortably plus the bar seating space for another 15 or so, and then an outside seating area that is currently set up to seat around a conservative 70.
The local area has a fantastic and unique customer base of locals and an absolutely booming non-seasonal tourist area that is mainly English-speaking and independent from the greater European economy.
The turnover for the bar in 2022 was €490,000 and so far 2023 is showing a revenue increase of roughly 15%. This is in line with expectations and we believe there are fairly obvious ways to increase revenue further with relative ease too, if we were to be in a position to maintain our ownership we would happily be exploring ourselves.
For Sale with all offers in the €320,000 area considered, this would include all fixtures and fittings, all stock on hand at the time of turnover, and what is basically a turn-key business. Depending on the final agreement a handover period will be easily possible and the length necessary is to be discussed.
